The control box is the central control unit of the system. Just like the heat pump control, the control box is also integrated in the home network and thus allows for intelligent communication. It is integrated in the network via cable or optionally via WLAN with the WLAN stick.

The gateway is the central radio unit of the system. Via the gateway, all radio components for the control of the radiators (radiator drive), the underfloor heating (underfloor heating control) as well as the room temperature measurement (room sensor) are connected to the control box. The gateway itself is also integrated in the home network via WLAN or cable.

The radio - underfloor heating control controls up to 8 rooms/zones. It communicates wirelessly with the gateway and is equipped with an integrated repeater for improved wireless coverage with other radio components.

The radiator drive has an integrated room temperature sensor for controlling an individual radiator and communicates wirelessly with the gateway.

The room sensor measures the actual temperature in the rooms with underfloor heating. It communicates with the gateway via radio and is required for all rooms with underfloor heating.

The repeater amplifies the radio signal between the radio components or opens up inaccessible ranges.

The installation kit is a tool required for operating the alpha home system via a laptop/PC. It consists of 1 x USB - LAN adapter, 1 x patch cable and 1 x transport bag.

The WLAN stick is needed if the control box cannot be integrated into the home network via the network cable. Communication with the router then takes place via WLAN.

The adapter set 1 is required for Danfoss control valves.
